The Supply Chain Manager owns the local implementation of cross functional supply chain planning and execution projects according to Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) Class A principles, processes and metrics. The person facilitates the successful certification as well as preparation of the site to sustain the performance achieved to ensure that the supply chain processes are under control and deliver the vital service levels. The long term goal is the site MRP II Class A certification.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the site certification or project completion within approved timelines, including SAP Execution Blueprint, MRP II Class A, and SC Audit Remediation.

  • Project Management and Governance: Establish the project structure, define and monitor the project plan with sub-team leaders, lead the project team, and handle sub-team deliverables. Facilitate local project governance including a local Steering Committee and assess current process/performance against the project plan.

  • Implement fit-for-purpose strategies to guide site towards certification readiness.

  • Collaboration with Site Leadership Team (SLT): Work closely with the Site Head and SLT to drive and deliver Class A performance. Drive the implementation of Class A principles on site with the project team and SLT.

  • Budget Management: Propose and handle the budget allocated to the projects.

  • Performance Management: Support in Root Cause Investigation (RCI) for supply-related issues and assess remediation plans.

  • Super User Community: Establish and support the readiness of SAP super users within business processes.

Key requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences.

  • Requires 10+ years' experience in various Supply Chain Site Functions, emphasizing MRP II Class A certification, ideally in pharmaceutical GMP setting.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP and Supply Chain Processes (planning and execution).

  • Proficiency in APICS CPIM professional standards.

  • Consistent record to establish and supervise project delivery, balancing multiple local and complex sub-projects simultaneously.

  • Comprehensive and confirmed Change Management capabilities with the ability to identify and resolve conflicts.

  • Confirmed ability to lead, influence, and mentor individuals at all hierarchy levels.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Black Belt certification (preferred).

  • Proficient in English and German (spoken and written).
