Maintenance Systems Coordinator

The Maintenance Systems Coordinator role at Lonza AG offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of an exceptionally dedicated team in Tampa, FL. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our systems and ensuring flawless operation of our maintenance processes. This position involves managing asset master data, criticality assessment information, and keeping the master data up-to-date to support all departments. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our world-class facilities!

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain Master Data for all identified assets with precision

  • Manage the SAP-based CMMS and provide detailed training for users

  • Develop and coordinate work schedules (planned and emergent) for equipment repair, maintenance, calibration, and replacement

  • Focus on GMP Manufacturing, Packaging, Analytical and Development Laboratories, Computer Software Systems, and Process Support Utilities

  • Support the creation and evaluation of maintenance department metrics and drive continuous improvement of maintenance department critical metrics

  • Prepare and optimize preventative maintenance plans and schedules to ensure balanced workload among resources, reduce equipment downtime, and minimize interference with operation schedules

  • Track maintenance execution to ensure required activities are completed accurately and on time

  • Provide recommendations for forecasting of budget requirements and assist in managing department expenses

  • Adhere strictly to all defined Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations, seeking clarification when necessary

  • Promptly report any Safety and Sustainability issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, or opportunities to management and accurately address where possible

  • Stop work where deemed vital to maintain safety

  • Perform/review hazardous waste operations in accordance with RCRA and DOT requirements

Key Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • GMP experience is preferred
