QC Analyst I - Microbial Control (Nights)

Join our dynamic team at Lonza as a QC Analyst I in Microbial Control and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding pharmaceutical solutions! This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work within our Quality Microbial Control department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision.

This position is a night shift role working Wednesday to Saturday, 8:30PM - 7:00AM.

Shift Differential are included for nights and weekends worked.

Training will be conducted during the 1st shift for a few weeks to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run test samples for In-Process, Lot Release, and Stability studies.

  • Support Utility and HVAC monitoring and sampling throughout the facility.

  • Apply Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Laboratory computer systems effectively.

  • Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, requiring the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices.

  • Analyze situations or data, reviewing identifiable factors to resolve moderate scope problems.

  • Apply Data Integrity principles in all aspects of work, adhering to Lonza DI policies, guidelines, and procedures.

  • Consistently deliver high-quality outcomes meeting quality standards.

Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience; an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related science fields is preferred.

  • 0-4 years of industry experience, preferably in a cGMP environment.

  • Strong ability to interpret data independently and with mentorship.

  • Ability to accurately interpret and adhere to instructions.

  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.

  • Positive attitude and ability to relate well to others in a team setting.
