Lonza Tampa seeks a Packaging Operator to join our driven team and help implement brand new packaging and labeling processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and successfully introduce our powerful solutions. You will have the outstanding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact our mission to enhance lives worldwide.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete manual processes for Primary and Secondary Packaging following batch record instructions.

  • Operate and set-up automated equipment for specific packaging tasks.

  • Ensure the flawless reconciliation and movement of materials between packaging areas and the warehouse, maintaining a strict chain of custody.

  • Identify and report any potential issues to QA, Team Lead, Equipment Specialist, CPS Project Coordinator, or Manager to preempt deviations or investigations.

  • Assist the Equipment Specialist with the qualification protocols for new equipment.

  • Maintain current training on SOPs, logbook entries, and GMP documentation.

  • Participate in project-related meetings and discussions to adhere to the Production Schedule.

  • Engage in safety processes and meetings to uphold our world-class safety standards.

  • Adhere to and clarify Safety and Sustainability requirements, reporting any issues promptly.

  • Proactively stop work if necessary to ensure safety.

Key requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent experience

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment

  • Proficiency in cleaning and sanitizing Primary and Secondary Packaging rooms

  • Ability to maintain positive, professional, and confidential relationships with sponsors, aligning with all state and federal regulatory requirements and guidelines

  • Flexibility to perform other applicable duties as assigned
