Enprotect® capsules filled with Fecal Microbiota Transplant products stored are confirmed after 12-month storage at -80°C

This study shows that Capsugel® Enprotect® capsules are stable and compatible with standard FMT placebo formulation upon storage at -80°C for at least 12 months and for a thawing time from 30 minutes to 6 hours. Therefore they offer an interesting alternative to the double encapsulation method. Poster presented at the 5th European Conference on Pharmaceutics 2025.
